History

Präzisionsteile Dresden GmbH & Co. KG traces its beginnings back more than 60 years. Founded under the name PENTACON, the company has been engaged in the production of high-precision camera components – the high art of precision mechanics – for 30 years.

With the acquisition of Pentacon manufacturing by the Mohr group of companies in 1991, the key step forward was taken that continues to define us today: high-precision metal components.

A further step in our development came with the acquisition by KAP AG in 2008. Since then, Präzisionsteile Dresden GmbH has been a highly specialised producer of metal and metal-plastic components for drive technology. Today our company is a system partner to major global players with a know-how that extends from joint development of solutions to series production.
