Materials
As a contract manufacturer in the machining and forming of construction components, we process a wide range of materials. In addition to the classic and easily machinable materials, we also process difficult-to-machine materials, for which we have gradually built up expertise and a decisive competitive advantage, even at the limits of manufacturability.
Selection of materials from the current production portfolio
- Alloyed and unalloyed steels: Free-cutting steels and unalloyed heat-treatable steels (including 1.0503); tool steels/HSS (including 1.3343), engineering steels (including 1.5920), corrosion-resistant steels (including 1.4108), bearing steels (including 1.3505) and many more.
- Aluminum alloys: including EN AW 6082 and EN AW 7075
- Nickel and nickel alloys: including unalloyed nickel 2.4066 and 2.4068
- Copper and copper alloys
- Plastics: including POM, PEEK, PTFE, PA
Depending on the project, quantity and material, the required semi-finished products are evaluated by our team for optimization potential to minimize the use of materials. This is particularly worthwhile for very cost-intensive materials (e.g. stainless steels, nickel). We have been able to build up a reliable and highly competent network of suppliers for such preliminary processes and development topics over many years.
