CNC longitudinal turning is one of the most demanding processes in modern machining technology and is based on precise
CNC turning. In this process, long, slender workpieces are continuously fed and machined with high precision, whereas
short-turn turning is geared toward shorter, dimensionally stable workpieces. Our
automatic long-turning machines produce
rotationally symmetrical precision turned parts with consistent dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality.
We machine workpieces up to Ø 20 mm and lengths up to 200 mm—cost-effectively, with reproducible results, and with process stability. Thanks to
precision-ground clamping technology, automatic tool change, and
digital process monitoring, we achieve tolerances of up to ± 0.01 mm and
surface roughness values of up to Ra 0.8 µm in accordance with
DIN ISO 2768 - fine.
