CNC sliding headstock turning is one of the most demanding processes in modern machining technology. It involves the continuous guidance and high-precision machining of long, slender workpieces. Our sliding headstock automatic lathes produce rotationally symmetrical precision parts with consistent dimensional accuracy and excellent surface quality.
We machine workpieces up to Ø 20 mm and lengths up to 200 mm - economically, reproducibly and with stable processes. Thanks to precision-ground clamping technology, automatic tool changes and digital process monitoring, we achieve tolerances of up to ± 0.01 mm and roughness values of up to Ra 0.8 µm in accordance with DIN ISO 2768 - fine.
